Seat change issues

I scored a nicer leather interior for the e53 I am working on. Put the seats in the other day. Memory functions on the seats work fine. But unable to get the heated function to work.

Checked codes with ista and szm module has a code for the kbus being down.

Anyone here ever have this issue after putting seats in?

Thanks

I put in heated rear seats in a while ago, and if I remember correctly there should be a relay switch in the back, or it was a fuse in the front that needed to be added.

x2 there's a relay required that you won't have if the vehicle didn't come with the heater rear seat options.

Word on the street is you can borrow your rear defrost relay to confirm your rear heat works

This is for my front seats. Something went down because I put one of the old seats back in and the heated seat isn't working on it when it did before I took it out.

No, it's all good. Good info if I ever get a rear heated seat.
