Expansion tank in the cheap X5 I bought decided to pop yesterday. I knew it wouldn't be long until it did. I bet it's the original one from how cruddy it and the hoses look.

We had just pulled into the gas station down the road from our house and as I'm filling it up I see this little stream of water pooling. Pop the hood and sure enough there's a pinhole in the expansion tank. Glad it was close to home.

I ordered what's in the fcpeuro.com cooling system kit from eEuroparts. Plus new belts and pulleys. It's not lifetime, but same brand stuff and cost me 200 bucks less.

After that I'm doing the vanos, m56 valve cover and m50 intake. Then a nice tune. Vroom vroom.....
