Big problem E53

I need everybody’s help on this one. My 2002 X5 3.0 loses power
And it jerks like your foot is on and off the gas. Only on high acceleration. It happens for a few seconds and goes away. It started after not using the vehicle for 2 weeks coz it’s at the body shop. Replaced the cam shaft sensors, spark plugs, coil packs, MAF. And no codes at all. Really a big headache for me.

Checked the fuel pressure and it’s fine.

Unless you checked the pressure under load at the time of hesitation you didn't check the pressure.

Wife's FPR failed from the tiny o-ring inside.

You can test the FPR for leaks by running the pump to charge it up and then let it sit over night. If the pressure is zero overnight FPR or check valve in the pump has failed and will give you the symptoms you describe.

By chance is your fuel level near 3/8? You can be suffering from siphon jet failure. There is a factory defect that will cause siphon jet failure eventually.

That is not a valid value. As BMW would say "implausible signal".

The flood stage of the fuel tank is approximately 27L left and 1.5L right.

Once the left is ≤ 27L, tye right side holds no fuel save the pump sump (that holds about 5L 3.6L of which is unmeasured so will read 1.4L or and/or.

So: if there is 16L on the right the laws of physics dictate you must have maybe 40ish on the left so there are errors in the measuring.

I think the full values are 55/27 so a good start point for testing is fill the tank and see what values you get.

(Note that adds to 82 vs. 92 because the top 10L are not meausured because the float is pinned against the top of the tank when the fuel level is within 10L of full.
