Yeah, I don't know if I have ever seen an E53 with running boards in the flesh, ever.

It would have to be a really, really nice E53 for me to buy one without running boards. I highly prefer the look of the body with them. As for rarity, agreed, they are not the most common thing to see here in the States.
But that's subjective.

Same here. Running boards are part of the body lines. However, I am another one not interested in the aluminum boards.

The seller has them up on ebay now for $700 + shipping.
I personally like the look of them but for that price I will keep both my x's without. If they were on canadian models so much more, does anyone wanna do a swap? |
