F60 mystery solved! Searching for information, I ran across the following GMIII info.
The fuse listing is highly detailed! If I had it months ago it would have been helpful. The table will be added to my X5 maintenance book.

F60 30 AMP General Module (Rear Power Window, Power Door Locks, Power Mirror)
So, now I can limit my F60 amp draw to these components. Suspect number #1 - folding mirrors! They won't stay folded but work. I'll look for replacement microswitches. Next, unplug both mirrors.
