Fiber Optic / EL Wire Ambience

Good afternoon friends,
Been doing some research recently in regards to a ambient lighting system for the E53. I’ve come across a few different options but I’m not sure what I want yet. So I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experience doing this kind of thing and has any recommendations of products, installation methods, advice to help select a product, or just thoughts in general. I don’t want this to be something I end up regretting, nor do I want it to do large amounts of damage to the vehicle. Let me know what you think!
(I heard some other BMW people highly recommended the Bimland system, but I’m not sure if the kit will be sufficient for the E53
