Foxwell NT520 Pro - user comparison request

Who else has an NT520 Pro? Can someone connect theirs and do a comparison to mine. I'm curious if it's Foxwell programming issues or something seriously wrong with mine (X5).
Example: the "Rear lid (top) button (boot lid) input shows pressed. To test it, the outer door button/plate lights assembly was unplugged. The "pressed" data didn't change. The boot lid works normally. It opens with FOB and console buttons. So now, I don't trust the seat memory button status "pressed" too. Plus the DBC "pressed" too.
The doors were also tested. Both front doors status displayed "closed". Even with the key "ON". and doors wide open.

Another test to try for comparison. Go the headlight washer and activate it. On activation the left rear window rolls up! WTH!!

Comparison help would be appreciated.

The symptoms you describe match damage to the module (gm3?) That controls those items.

The short that shows the tailgate button pressed is upstream of the button (module or wiring loom).

Determine which module controls the items acting up and you'll likely find the source of your headaches. (and thank foxwell for finding the bad part)

Well, time to look for software. The GMIII has been repaired. I have a spare GMIII module. Time to find a way to clone one. If the OEM is damaged, what’s next?

Andrew's comment is almost certainly correct. He's a great source of information

I have a 520 pro and can verify some time today, if you'd like. If you can give me the menu path to the two screens you have below, that will save me some time. I've only used my 520 for checking codes and monitoring oil temp, ATF temp and voltage.

haigha,
Thanks! My wife took the X5 to work today. Cold day so she likes the heated seats over her Acadia. I can get the menu list late today.

Does anyone have a "how to code" a GMIII module? A communication cable and software download are in progress. I'm not sure if I'll look for an XP laptop somewhere or try Win10.

Ok, menu sequences to active testing and live data input. Doing a scan before menu searching, codes did report the plate lights disconnected. However, the input "pressed" didn't change. WTH?
The numbers below are option selection menu numbers.
1) BMW
2) Automatic selection
Options
2) Control units
3) Body
16) IKE Instrument Cluster Electronics
5) Live Data
3) Switches - select all and display. Mine shows the following pressed buttons
Steering column stalk/ same as pic above

Another selection
3) Body
41) ZKE central body electronics
4) Live data
4) Boot Lid unlocking - select all view data
Mine shows the upper boot button pressed. Same as pick above

Another sequence
2) Central units
3) Body
41) ZKE Central body electronics
5) Active tests
1) Winscreen wash/wipe system
5) Headlight cleaning pump - activate (before activating - roll down the left passenger window. When the pump is activated - the window goes up!

Another sequence option
1) ECU - signals select all - view
Mine on option - consumption signal from ECU - active (aka it's awake!)

On mine, the first one shows the stalk NOT pressed.

For the second one, I get the same as you Rear lid (top) button (boot lid) Pressed

I couldn't find the third one on my Foxwell, probably because I don't have headlight washers (no cold weather package).

I couldn't find the fourth one. I did select ECU and all data but didn't see anything about signals.

haigha,
Thanks for following up! Ok, for now, I'll eliminate the rear hatch switch as an amp draw through F60. Unless someone else sees something different, it's a Foxwell reading error.
The BC stock button shows different. I'll go ahead and swap the switch. Maybe all the BC instrument cluster options will come back.

It was cold yesterday so I missed the memory button sequence. If I have time today, I'll dig through the menus for it. I'm sure it's under the ZKE options. Mine shows pressed.
