What is Wrong with this 2006 X5 on ebay?

Is this the correct instrument cluster for the 2006? I like the exterior color, but grey interior is not my first choice and I'm not sure if I want sport seats again. I may run up and take a look if the reserve isn't hit...but I think it needs a close look...Think 52K would take it?

The instrument cluster looks correct for a 2006.

Looks good to me, I would agree it seems cheap for a brand new ride...but it is probably something they are looking to unload quickly and they aren't a Bimmer dealer.

i dont know i would buy from that dealer. it's a local one to me and i looked at a used merc and the way they get their cars is by buying the cars from the manufacturer that the manufacturer bought back from the customer and refurbished

Could be a problem buyback car? I did not realize the 2006 cluster had aluminium rings...they look sharp.

No heated seats - front or rear. I thought heated seats were standard on all X5 models, no? Must be missing what, the cold weather package? First time I've seen that - weird, especially since it has so many other nice options... No load floor or adj. ride height either - no big deal.

Looks like a quick & dirty (pun intended) detail job too. He's got the plastic on the carpeting to give it that new effect but if you look closely in some pics, it's very dirty in some spots. I don't think I like all that shiny gunk in the engine bay either - look at the upper left at the cowling. Nav screen appears to have been wiped with something nasty too. And look at the roof console area - where the garage door switches are - what's that plastic protrusion that says "Pass Air Bag" doin' up there? That area looks a bit damaged too. Looks a bit suspicious to me. A Katrina car perhaps?

Sorry - I guess I'm just in one of those moods tonight...
Oh, and it looks like there's a 2 and a half inch scratch in the rear bumper too - right side.

Edit: Hey, I just realized the original question was "what's wrong with this car?..." - guess I'm not so out of line after all. Hope I was helpful then!!!

I think there's no heated seats since it's in Florida.

I think X5Jay has a criminology degree...good eyes. It does seems primped. Although sometimes folks buy the Sport and they are just not ready for the ride, so out it goes. b/t/w my X does not have the CWP either--I'd say only 20% have it in FL. We have heated seats March through November.
