n62 misfire's and oil leak

Hello my new friends^^

I'm currently having an 4.8is out of late 2005 that has driven 200.000km. When i bought it the seller told me the valve stem seals were just replaced, no bills or whatever though. Did a lot of normal maintenance and after i replaced the crankcase ventilation system the car started misfiring on cil 6 and 7 and a few random cilinders. Did a remap at a BMW dealer and after 30 mins the cel came on, read it, map sensor failure. The map sensor turned out to be unplugged from the beginning.

What I've tried:

-new plugs
-new coils
-swapped over injectors (still mainly cil 6 and 7)
-compression test (all was 10.5 bar)
-new intake manifold gasket
-new map sensor
-new maf sensor
-new lambda probes in front of cat
-new fuel filter

The car runs very smooth with the MAF unplugged, for 1000km's now, with the every sensor plugged in it runs better and faster in the beginning but starts misfiring on 6 and 7 but also random cilinders after about 30km. Inpa shows this also in roughness, very smooth but when misfiring very rough on some cilinders. There was some oil laying on all of the intake valves when i replaced the intake manifold. It is leaking oil at the alternator bracket gasket and the vacuum pump, could this cause so much oil to be sucked in and cause these problems? valve covers don't seem to leak a drip, also almost no smoke from the exhaust under any circumstance. So what do u think? bad valve stem seals, the two named gaskets or maybe another issue ?

Anytime the vanos solenoids are taken out/replaced, a special 'oil reset' procedure must be performed. I recon this is the issue, but who knows. You can try the E70 board, I posted there about it.
These N62's are a little bit quirky.

Thank u, I’m going to try that. The problem was there before I cleaned the vanos solenoids, but u never know. The oil level sender also says one green dot, it was 2 dots a while ago but no matter how full I make it it wont change anymore, i was thinking faulty sender and just use the dipstick. But seemingly the oil level and pressure is computer controlled with these things?:p

The green dot you are talking about, is it the little bars of green/yellow/red on the dash cluster at startup?

If so those are for oil hours (for change times) and have to be reset with inpa or Foxwell

I use a Foxwell NT-510 as it does everything including coding some things to make the ViN match, but not coding for any of the cool hooyah stuff.

It's small, stays in hot cars without dying (50c+ here) and is perfect for folks who work on their own cars.
The NT-520 is also fine for e53's but the NT-530 is NOT.

The Foxwell NT-510, NT-520 are a little slow and kind of clunky but unless you're trying to reset codes during a police chase it's awesome. I've seen offers for the NT-510 as low as 99£ (Amazon.uk) and 139.95 USD (Amazon.com) and since you don't have to carry a laptop and cables or pay for programs....

This "service indicator" decreases based on fuel consumed - and it can be reset via the cluster buttons.

Plugged in the MAF today, perfect for a while, roughness on inpa within 0.1, then a bit rougher after 5km, no cel until 20km’s and then at standing still after the drive, rough idle and blinking cel..
