Valley Pan - FAST Leaker

E53 has been a garage queen so can't pinpoint it.....seems to leak on extended drives but the last 2 extended, haven't seen the level go *low* in the tank. But the Valley Pan is leaking....if I crawl underneath when it's gone low, you can see it raining from the back of the belly plate. I checked and can't to be see it coming from a heater hose.

For those in the know.....since whenever it does decide to leak from the valley pan, it seems to lose quite a bit over a extended drive. I suppose 40 miles round trip is not that extended. Will one day the VP all just gush out and I'm SOL.

Not looking to tackle this VP leak on this car ......but don't really want to be sitting on the side of the road either. Maybe it will really be destined as the grocery getter ;-). It's been sitting in out weekend home and mainly just used to exercise it when I'm out there.
