Greetings to you as well, and welcome!

+1 to the post above. It is definitely time to look at the cooling system, it can be a ticking time bomb. The Texas climate will definitely put some stress on the system.

The E53 is an awesome machine . I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for all the "welcomes". Essentially the first thing I did was take the E53 to The Kaferhaus, a Bimmer specialist that is local to me, to get a clean bill of health. So far so good. I enjoy driving it.
