I had the basic seats, which sucked.... But I've heard better things about the comfort seats. They're much more comfortable, especially if you are on a long trip. The sport seats are better if you're into corners... If I was paying, I'd get the comfort seats.

It's a personal call, but most would likely say that comfort seats are the better choice.

I have the comfort seats on my '05. Much better than the standard seats, but as I've noted before, the seat bottoms on the comfort seats are the exact same bottoms as the standard seats. The best would be to have comfort seat backs, and sport seat bottoms, but BMW in their infinite wisdom, does not do this.

Kinda like the sport package - no heated steering wheel stupidity that was finally remedied. There is always hope.

I thought that the seats that come with the Sports package i.e. Sport seats are different from Basic seats - Is that not true.

Sports Package = Sport Seats, unless you choose to go with the Comfort Seats as an additional option.

Which option do you need to specify to get the comfort seats?

16-Way Comfort Seats - $1,200 (unless you are getting a 4.8, in which case I believe it is a free upgrade)
