Arnott Air Springs?
Hello,
As part of a bunch of work I'm doing on my '03 4.4 right now I installed a pair of these in the rear. The whole idea of retaining the air line with a cheesy plastic clip is shady enough as it is...On the left side the OE clip seemed to have engaged the air spring ok, but on the right I couldn't get the OE spring to work, but the clip supplied by Arnott did, so it seems. And my use of the word seemed/seems is not coincidental. Neither side engages with a clearly audible 'snap' sound, which leaves me questioning how secure these are. The last thing I need is one of these lines letting go when my wife is out driving around. That would be bad! I've searched through a number of threads after doing a search and haven't found too many comments on this. Is this a concern, or should I not worry about it? Thank you for your advice. |

No "snap" with new design. They use the equivalent of a "Chinese finger cuff" grip.
Take note of there depth they go in and give a good tug to confirm it's gripped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
