Unknown screw on rear blower motor

I'm about to put the center console back and can't remember if anything was screwed in here.

Does anyone have a clue what's this for?

Did you intend to put up a photo?

You should see the image. Maybe try opening with chrome browser.

I took apart 2 center consoles at junk yard today and it was also empty.

It appears to be the rear blower that RealOEM shows listed for my X5 (and others). Apparently it's under the console, though I'm not sure. Since I haven't seen it in person, I've no idea what the screw is for.
