Current Deals on '06 X5 4.4i
1. Anyone seeing offers better than $450 over invoice on an ordered X5? (For reference, I'm in northern California.) 2. Any last minute advice on options? (I know, the premium sound ain't great, but my wife wants more bass and doesn't want people fiddling with the wiring. My experience trying to get the alternator whine out of my E46 system hasn't been the best ...) Thanks in advance! |

hitch? cd changer? I'm interested in pricing also as I've put an order in for a Spartanburg p/u. Dealer is still trying to get feedback from the factory on what extras they are willing to install there.

Go check out the comfort seats. Take a test drive in a model that has them. The sports package seats may look nicer, but the comfort seats are absolutely great for long trips. I have the comfort seats and making the trek between LA and SF is no longer a pain in the butt literally because of them.
Most of the forum members have gone the iceLink Plus route in replacement of the CD changer so this isn't a must have option. You'll still have a CD up front in the passenger compartment. |

Thanks for the input, guys. In negotiating, I forgot to inquire about the MACO. I understand from checking around that the MACO fee ($490 around here) is real, and thus it's legitimate to include the MACO in the base when you're negotiating off of invoice. Is that right? Just want to make sure we're comparing apples-to-apples and that I'm not getting screwed on semantics.
Thanks again. |

Casey,
I just bought a 06 4.4i with premium package, cold package, navi ,rear climate package, premium hifi audio, and heating steering wheel for $500 over invoice. And they gave me a killer lease. $673.01 24month/15k .0115 money factor 69% residue Put 4k down. Hope that helps. John |
