Direction please…

My E53 has around 150k on it, I just recently purchased it and it started bogging like its a fuel issue. I have the 4.8, where should I start diagnosing?

Perhaps the fuel pump.
Do you hear it start when you initiate the ignition?

I bought a fuel pressure gauge from harbor freight for $30. E53 should maintain very stable 50 psi.

The FPR build into the fuel filter is a cumin fault but if your fuel pump is original it's overdue
