Passenger Seat Sensor
Hi, I just replaced my 06 e53 passenger seat ocupancy sensor,( 750$ part) and am still getting the error 71 and light still stays on. I have reset the error code but it comes right back, I have a bypass emulator I bought a while ago and when I plug it in it works as it should. I would use the bypass but it keeps draining my battery and I wanted to fix it correctly. Could the new pad and sensor be bad or is there additional programming needed?

SRS code 71 "Seat occupancy sensor II" on mine was fixed by an emulator bypass. Is there a voltage drop across F29 or F44?
F44 should be the primary fuse for seat mat. F44 feeds the Electronic seat control ---> Seat mat.
