Parking sensors randomly started working after 8 months
I did the 'click' test last month, and could hear that 1 rear sensor and 2 fronts were silent, so purchased replacements to fit when I get time over summer. However, last week for the first time since owning the car, whilst reversing the sensors started working! I was (pleasantly) surprised. They've worked a few more times over the week, but not 100%. Maybe half the time I've reversed? I don't know if it's due to being summer here in the UK and we've had some fairly warm weather and they've dried out, or if I had a lose connection somewhere that's making contact? Any ideas as to where to look or what to check? |

There could be some corrosion on the connectors especially if body work was done and the seals were damaged. If you bought cheap replacements they will be worse.
