Help!

So I got the trim piece that goes around the lil lock thing that pops up when you lock and unlock the doors. I put it on and now the lock gets stuck in the up position. The door still locks when I lock it, but it still looks like it's unlocked because the thing is still up.

HAHA...did any of that make sense??

Well there really isn't much to take a picture of besides the door thing in the "unlocked" position. I didn't take the door apart...just slid the trim piece over it.

HELP!!

Happened to me when I replaced the door speakers and removed the door trim. The lock "thing" is actually a long metal inside the door panel and can be bent which causes it to jam.

Try removing the trim then apply pressure towards the direction where there seems to be some space and that'll relieve the pressure on where it's hitting the trim.
