Question affect of removing BM53 Radio module

I had to buy a new battery but I have a faulty Becker BM53 radio module. So, when I disconnected the battery and reconnected the new one I think the reset of all the modules, etc. on the ibus did not complete. Now I am getting no indicators on the dash cluster sometimes and other times they work ok and other times they are delayed. Indicators still work ok on the outside. The hazard button works but again with no clicking sound.

So, I am wondering if I will affect any other modules, besides the obvious radio system not working, if I remove the BM53 radio module which is under the rear spare tire?

Has anyone driven around without this module?

thanks

And the answer to this is that no other modules are affected/harmed. In fact you can remove the radio amp, cd changer, navigation unit with no harm. Hence, this ends this thread. Solved.
