Heated seat wiring location for the front

I'm trying to find out where the wiring connections for the heated seats are. My X didn't come with the heated seat option, but I have some seats cushions that I am going to use to replace my current one's (thanks to mrbmwx5). Those do have the heating element. Besides the new switch what else would I need?

you need the A169 switch - this is the one that has the heated seats buttons.

you need to make sure Fuse F37, 5A is present and wired, otherwise it needs to be wired up to the pin 23 of the A169 switch

you need to make sure fuse F53 is present and wired to the pin 7 of the A169

as a matter of fact, you might already be prewired for this whole thing, front and back - what other options do you already have in the car? xenon lights from the factory?

I notice that on a passenger side heated seat that I brought, it has the yellow connector that connects with the yellow connector coming out from the floor, but there is also a two pin connector that is zip tied to the wiring harness on the seat. Anyone know what this connector is for as there is no two pins connector in the car.

My X is a base model. I don't think it has any of the goodies. I figured the less it has the less I have to worry about things breaking.

the 2-pin connector is probably for the heater of backrest of the seat. the yellow connector contains the feed for the heated seats but it also has the SRS system wiring - DO NOT turn ignition on when connector disengaged

I just did the passenger seat and didn't see any extra wires laying around. Does anyone have pictures of the wires I need to use ?

The wires from the heating elements needs to be installed in the yellow connector that is attached to the seat bottom.
