Which guibo for my manual?

My guibo is old and cracking, so I want to replace it. I have a 5-speed built 11/01. When I look it up in realoem, it shows two different part#s: 26111229360 and 26117511454. One says LK=96MM and the other says LK=96MM/12. The note says LK=bolt hole. These bolts are nowhere near 3" in diameter, so what is the difference between these two?

I think the 12 means 12mm bolt.

The bolt ring diameter is 96 mm. M12 bolts.

I had the same question.
Then I got under the car (no need to jack it up) and looked
and found the answer.
The PN is on the Giubo ..

If you do a Google search, someone said the difference is in the thickness.

Thanks. I'll get under and look for the part number on the guibo. I figured that was an option, but I won't be able to do that until tomorrow.

Yikes. I bought two giubos from FCP a couple months ago and just trusted their website to give me the right ones. Haven't installed yet.

Over the years, I have found that websites (realoem, FCPEuro etc)
are, for the most parts, correct but once in a while it is confusing.

The Japanese are better, they usually try to keep the same
PNs for different applications, simplifying data base and repair.

BMW and Volvo etc tend to have different PNs for slightly different items (such as diff driveshafts for Auto vs Man Trans).
This just makes repair more difficult.

For the cars I have at home, when I am bored lol...I look around, and assuming the car is stock, I write down PNs for common stuffs such as:
- Giubo
- Radiator
- Alternator
- Belt(s)
etc...

This way when I need the info, I have it ready.
It only takes a few minutes to gather info on
your existing car.

For cars that you send with your kids in college,
this (gathering info on PNs) is even more important.
