First mod!

After owning my X5 for three weeks, I have finally done the first mod -- chrome exhaust tips. Much nicer look now. Next up are the running boards.

Very nice. I personally think the chrome exhaust tips look much better than the black

i think it depends on you color. Like white or silver wouldnt look that great with the chrome tips. On my silver X, i think black tips that come with the sport package provide a great contrast that looks great. On a green or black X5, i think the chrome looks awesome.

i put these on my X too. did you weld them on, or just bang them with rubber mallet like I did?

VERY nice! They look great on a dark car. I had them on my silver X5 before I got the Remus. I put the running boards on, too. Make sure you have a plastic rivet gun and EXTRA RIVETS!

OEM chrome exhaust tips I got off eBay. Took 10 minutes to rubber mallet them on. Makes the rear end much more noticeable. The stock exhaust pipes were so similar in color to the rear plastic that they were essentially camoflauged. The chrome really stands out now.
