4.6 kit or Stock
Here's my dilemma. I want to paint my bumpers like the X below but was wondering if i should not paint them and get the 4.6 kit (painted) like pic #2 or get the 4.6 kit and still paint the bumpers. Not sure how it that would look but In the end I definitely want the all silver look. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'd go for the 4.6 kit and not paing the black in between the pieces - I like that look much better than painting everthing.

There is reason why there is black around the wheels, paint chips from rocks flying up. I am going for the 4.6is kit with the black it looks well.....like a BMW

I suggest the 4.6is kit, paint the door ding strips, and add aluminum running boards but leave the other trim black. That will give you a more silver look without overdoing it by adding the 4.6 kit and painting the remaining trim silver. To be honest, I have seen a couple of silver X5's with all the black trim painted and it looks good but not great, surprisingly. The stock front bumpers are a little too busy in silver. All of the recesses and cutouts are more pronounced in the lighter color. Also, the picture you show with the big ACS wheels looks good partly because of those big wheels and because it is lowered so much. The all-silver X5's I saw were stock height and looked less aggressive and sporty than the one pictured.
On a practical note, you always run the risk of chipping, cracking, and peeling when painting plastic parts. My $0.02.

Unless you are getting a drop and those 22's, and its going to be ashow car, go with the paint. Otherwise your newly painted bumpers will chip so bad you'll have to get them painted again and again again.......... 4.6 all the way with the black trim showing
