workingonit is on a distinguished road
it seems like the MAF is starting to feel at home

I just came back from a short trip (25 miles, stop and go, some speeds up to 60, two destinations visited), and I observed the LTFT's starting to settle down into +3's to +4's, lower than I've grown to expect from low-speed driving. Usually, the LTFT's only fall that low during longer stretches of highway travel.

Maybe the Siemens MAF is learning and correcting the long-term incorrect fuel map? I almost wish I was still driving my 120+ mile-per-day commute to work and back, as I did until 2016 (5 years before I got the X5), just to get a new LTFT baseline, faster than my 25 miles or less a month can accomplish.

Thanks, X5chemist!

X5chemist will become famous soon enough
Nice! The MAF plus all your emission work adds up. Keep driving as much as you can. My aftermarket MAF is still going good. Eventually, I'll buy a back up OEM one.
