Passenger window and sunroof questions
On my X5 , the passenger window DOES NOT have the auto-one touch for rolling UP. my other X5 is down for maintenance so I can’t check it.
When using drivers master switch panel, does the 1 touch button work on passenger window to roll up? Second question. My sunroof works kinda. It only goes back 3/4 way. I think I can trace that to something sticky or jammed. Second issue is the one touch auto open does not work either way. Open or close. Also, pop up feature does nothing. Where to start guys?

The switch on my driver's door does all four automatically with the double push. They could have did a much better job on the second detent of the switch to make it a little harder to push, most of the time I end up just having it run all the way up or down which isn't what I wanted.
The sunroof .. you're entering a world of pain. If the glass is still firmly attached to the mechanism, your best bet is to manually crank it closed, and if it doesn't leak just call it good and get on with your life. If you really want to fix it, it can be done. Is it the single pane roof or the double pane panoramic roof? The hardest part is probably getting the headliner back up, the three clips in the rear how you have to slide them all in perfectly over at the exact same time. I never ever ever want to have to do that again. Otherwise it's just a ton of work but it's not bad. There is an alignment dowel pin in the front left of the cassette, and if you don't know about that, it will leak and you have to do it all again.

Will the sun roof open all the way back if you hold the button? It does require calibration to know where to stop. I've had to do a reset on mine when the battery is disconnected. Fortunately, mine works pano open and vent mode.
