wpoll will become famous soon enough
Sounds like the flat battery has caused an OBC unlock code to be invoked - this is not unheard of.

B&K-X5 is on a distinguished road
no crank

Thanx Wayne, I will definitely give that a try. It has no battery in it now. So next weekend when I go up to my land ill put the new battery in and wit 10 minutes. Doe the count down actually show up on the display lcd ?
Also, I forgot to mention that when I put a charger on it, tried to jump it, or when I put the last supposed GOOD battery in it...the alarm went off every time.
So this is what was making me think it went into theft mode and triggered EWS. But in the past when it went into EWS it still cranked over. This time it only cranks over for 1-2 seconds. So I'm thinking it is something different like you are saying.
Probably triggered EWS too...lol
