Mirror mirror on the X5

Hey X-Men,
Just installed brand new folding mirrors on
the 4.6is. I have unused black unpainted
Front covers. Also the black surround of the mirror.
I have both triangle mirror brackets.
Should anyone need a replacement part.

I can’t get the pictures to reduce size. And before some whippersnapper says “ It’s so easy” just go thru these 35 steps. Save your ink . I tried, I’m done.
Send me your email and I will send the pictures.

Thanks! My driver side mirror is rusting under the paint on the part that go,to into the door. I need to tackle it at some point, but don’t want to pull the door cards and cause more carnage. I’ll likely hold off until I need to fix the regulator(s).

I’ve got a 2002 4.4i, but wonder if the fold function wiring is present in my X5. The heated seats I put in from an LCI e53 were plug and play. I also had to replace the drivers door window and mirror switch - block last year and the new one has the folding button.

hahaha great , and I will hijack post my passenger side mirror went belly up a while back, i mean with the control on the door i can fiddle with it motor works i can angle mirror where I want, but when rearing up it angles itself to show you how near kerbside you are but then once back in D it still stuck there and doesn't revert to drive position and you are stuck looking at outer edge or rear wheel and kerb, gave up on it.....
