Another diesel noise
Changed oil 3 month ago, added some Cera tec and it slightly helped about engine noise, until now i guess. Ticking/knocking is back and i can't exactly tell what it sound like. Was hoping one of you could. Too loud to be injectors, maybe lifter valves? I thought about redoing an oil change and add some Liqui moly Lifter additive this time. Also i got a warning few days ago just after starting the car "stop check oil level(or pressure)". So I checked, oil was here.. I remember it happening few times in the past. Here couple of videos of the noise https://youtube.com/shorts/58O0syaWD2M https://youtube.com/shorts/kkIzuWUz8fg Please i don't want to hear anything about rods

It almost sounds like something loose on top of a piston, but the fact that the oil change helped and it's coming from the bottom says probably connecting rod, should be a little lower pitch sound but that could be the recording. A collapsed piston is usually more a double knock sound. That's just generic experience though, I have no experience with these particular engines so hopefully more chime in
It might help to get a length of hose and hold it to your ear, and maybe a stethoscope to track it down better.
