5-speed Manual transmission mount bushing replacement
I saw one how-to for the 6-speed manual but no instructions for the 5-speed manual transmission (and there's nothing in the Bentley manual for it, either). Is it the same basic procedure? Remove crossmember, pull the old one out, press a new one in?

Short Shift Kit...I just sold it, but have another stashed SOMEWHERE, new in box
. I'll keep an eye out for it if you are interested.

I’m slow here. What does a short shift do? Easier to shift?

Shorter throw for shifts (for you, not the transmission)
