Hi all, has anyone replaced the whole turtle shell compressor assembly? I have a replacement arriving soon. I am seeing it is a fairly easy job. Four bolts that hold the assembly down, disconnect the power by separating the power connector (at the top of the cargo bay at the back) and then separate the air lines from a distribution connector in the same area by using a small spanner.
Do I need to disconnect the battery for this? Also, I am wondering if there are any problems i need to watch out for. For example, I understand I have to take it slow undoing the air line cables from the junction connector as there is the existing air pressure. I have to replace the suspension level control module and the radio module. You guessed it, major rain downpour over a few days and the rear battery compartment got flooded. I swear I am going to drill some holes in the bottom with some grommets..lol. But, my issue was the rain travelled down the loom from the tail gate into these modules I think. Anyways, hope someone out there has done this replacement. cheers

Rear suspension compressor pump whole replacement
You can pull the two fuses for the air compressor.
I've only done the connectors to the air springs those quick connectors are easy to self destruct so if the compressor side has them also be careful. If i get a chance ill look up the steps in the TIS. Find a YouTube video.
