Air conditioning air warmer on passenger side

Noticed it today on the drive home. I'm guessing the blend door isn't closing all of the way? Is this is a common problem?

Could also be the hot water (coolant) valve on the firewall not closing off the hot water on the passenger side. This is a known issue...

Second on the valve. I think a good scanner will tell you the core temp of passenger and driver side but you can just grab the hoses to confirm the valves are closed
