Exclamation Luxury carpet floor mats - Where?

Hi all,

I swear a few years ago I read a post where someone bought some very very nice, fully customisable carpet floor mats that had different designs and looked very thick and premium.

For the life of me I can't find the post. It had pictures too I think.

Anyway, pretty sure it was a US company.

I'm after some carpet mats, I have the OEM BMW rubber mats and I want a bit more luxury feel in the cabin.

In short, any suggestions on where to buy great quality carpet mats for our cars?

Thanks

I bought some quilted ones for wife's X5. They looked a little too pleather until i trimmed to fit better then they were kind of nice.

My favorite are the OEM rubber though just way too practical

Yea these look ok but no mention of quality of material or thickness GSM etc. It would be nice if the fronts could have the locating mounts in the mats.

My (factory) mats have velcro attachements... no plastic "bung".

Hmmm ok.

Why is there a bung in the floor for the factory rubber mats but not carpet?

Interesting

Velcro doesn't stick to rubber?

The back of the factory mats have small ssections of velcro "loop" material stitched in and the plastic do-dads on the floor have the "hooks'.

Factory BMW plush mats are available on line. But, only in "Anthracite". I have a beige interior so I have been searching all over for replacements. I haven't been able to find any either. I did find some on Ebay that were used and in decent shape, but the driver's side is starting to wear out since this is my daily.
