22x10 tire fitment?

I am getting a 22x10 all around DPE wheels. Whats the biggest/recommended tire size for the 22x10? Can I maybe fit a 315 on the rim? Or is the rim to small for that?

The 10" rim is fine to accept a 315 tyre since the oem 20" wheel is 10.5" and has the same width tyre. The problem is that to get this tyre in a compatible profile in 22" is difficult! If you can find a 315/30/22 tyre this will increase your rolling diametre by 20mm from your stock 20" set up!
Your correct tyre alternatives are :-

285/30/22....same rolling dia. as your stock 20"s.
295/30/22....Same rolling dia. as oem 17"s, but 8mm up on your 20"s!

Personally I would go for the 295/30 and install 30mm spacers.

I think I answered this on your other"similar" thread!
Yes,you obviously need longer bolts should the spacers be made to require these! There are some spacers that will bolt on to your axle and on the other side have bolts on which we use nuts to tighten the wheel.

Ok i know this is an older thread but i am looking at getting a set of 22" DPEwheels that are 22x10 all around. What is the down side to having a larger rolling diameter, and what do the 30mm spacers do for me?

im goin with 295/30/22.
the 285 will throw of ur speedo because the diameter or whatver is off.

And plus my car is dropped via DIS im afraid if i get 285 the tire will be to thick and will rub in the front.IMO

Now this is the hard part, i am doing so much research on what kind of tires to get that go in that size. I keep on finding diff tires every day, because obv i want the best performance and also a good price.

I will keep you posted once I make my decision.
