about to buy 02-03 X5 4.4 ?

Hey everyone,

I've had an auto broker searching for an 02-03 4.4i for me and it's getting close. Looking at some from 40 - 55K miles. I will be buying the extended warranty with it, unable to get a CPO though.

My only concern is that I will be towing dirtbikes with it up in the mountains on the weekends and am worried about possible breakdowns i.e. not starting, etc...

What do you all think abut this? It seems like a pretty high quality rig, anyone ever left stranded?
