Instrument Cluster Light Conversion?

BMW seems to have the standard plain orange backlit color for the instrument clusters for every model.... has a color conversion ever been done or attempted before on a BMW, I would want to change it from orange to white or blue

I know people with VW and Audi put some lens over the lights to change the color since the lights were LED's but thats when I used to own one. Try the search or try vwvortex.com.
