IFlyX5 is on a distinguished road
These amber/orange LED lights are in the door pull areas (interior). I think you have to have the Premium Package (with MY03 forward) to have these LED lights.

ok great. I knew they should be in the back too since the door panel in the rear right has one and the rear left is missing (the one they replaced). I'm calling them Monday to have them correct their screw up and I'll let you guys know. Thx for all of your responces.

All X5s should have this. Our 01's got it.

My 01 4.4 had 2 lit when I got it CPO last year. I pulled the door panels and found that the plastic light pipes had cracked and the LED was left hanging. I used my plastic model glue to reattach the light pipe and now all 4 are as bright as ever.

Interesting coz my right rear is dim and not as bright as the fronts?? we'll I'll have them check that too when they replace the left rear door handle trim. Thx for all the responses.

Not installed on my 03 X5 auto .must be not on the european models in the base package i opted for .Have to check out the inside of the handle assembly to see can i retrofit it ....

The dimness might be due to a misalignment of the led in the hole like Tomaz's situation.

Hmm Maybe the 3.0i does not have them anymore just 4.4i and 4.8is? My 2004 3/04 Build 2004 X5 3.0i had them anyone care to help me out? because if mine were left out I'm demanding they replace them cause I miss them!
