Switching out parts cross-models like that probably isn't common enough to get a quick answer on.
As for Sport seats that'll fit, the X5 Sports would be the most natural choice, no? They're great seats, with more adjustments for comfort & position than standard, as well as a deeper bucket seat for cornering, etc. It's quite a project to retrofit them, but I assume you were expecting a bit of work for such a project. I'm the one who retrofitted the E46 seats. From experience and looking at the seats in the 6 series, they can be retrofitted I believe. Check the part number on realoem for the base of the seat, if its the same part numbers as the X5's than your in luck. I believe it should fit imo
