Strut Tower Brace, anyone?

Anyone interested in a more reasonably priced strut tower brace for the X5? After a bit of searching, I've found a vendor (www.strongstrut.com) that's willing to produce a strut brace for our X5 for about $400 (hopefully, it can be less if we can generate an overwhelming of interests). But he's willing to do it only if there's enough shows of interest. So...let see a show of hand if you're interested. I am in no way associated with this vendor...just wanted to get more vendors involved with producing aftermarket parts at a reasonable price for our Xs. Please contact Paul at [email protected] for more details.

Why do you prefer the Dinan may I ask? Is there something about it that warrants the $599 price tag? I mean, it's just a stiffening bar to make a complete box out of the front end...nothing really magical about it.

yes the car corners like a champ and is very stable at speeds >130mph.
as for dinan, the product is already made, why mess with something that doesn't exist yet.
