Good luck w/ the upgrades and although it will be nice to see all the parts on your X, I can't seem to agree w/ spending all that $$$ for the facelift mod.
Post some pics after you are done....

The silver box with yellow labels look like the ballast packs. If you have xenon lights now then you should have a pair of these that will need to be wired into the new light plugs.

Yes they are the ballasts but I don't know if the wiring plug for the self leveling units are compatible with the plug on the facelift light.
Do the facelift lights have a lever to adjust between LHD/RHD?

The self leveling system will need to be rewired into the new plug. If you want to save yourself a complete new loom and/or you want to change back then open the self leveling on the old units and remove the 4 pin/wire mini loom to wire it into the new plug. It should have 4 blue wires and plugs directly into the stepper motor.
E-mail me if you need photo/more info.

Will these lights fit in 2001 X5? If yes, could you please post the part number?
Thanks

Nope, it won't fit in your 2001 X5. Those headlights are for the facelift X5.
