Coolant level

This morning, I had the "check coolant level" message when I turned the X on, anything I need to worry about? Since I might need to add coolant, any of you familiar with the recommended one?

I got the BMW coolant form the dealer. How many miles does your X have on it now? My '01 had some cracked hoses on it at about 65K miles, so you may want to have that looked into or else adding coolant could be a frequent thing for you.
