Another newbie

Hey guys,

Been lurking around past couple of weeks checking up on what quirks the X5 has, having a early 325i I kind of know what to expect from BMW, but I also know my 325i has over 215k miles on it. Looking forward to my experience and hopefully contributing, eventually... maybe... Hope the picture works

Mods will start shortly.

G'day,

I just sold my 1989 325i convertible. Clocked 242k miles and still solid. There fetching reasonable prices in NZ although I thought NZ$12k was a bargain.

Now driving a 2002 X5 with the 4.4. Have put it through its paces on various outback roads and reckon its a screamer.

Based on this fab web site, I think the following upgrades are possibles:
- paddle steering
- lowering by 1.2 inches
- angel eyes
- DVD screens
