OlL LEVEL--NO CHANGE IN 1.5 mos, 3000mi--WTF?? Should I be concerned??
 ...Just checked my oil level--I changed it a month and a half ago, 3k miles, 8 quarts....No change in dipstick level since--I thought all Beemers burned oil?? Should I be concerned, or did I just get lucky?? Opinions welcomed.....

I have about 85,000 miles on my 2001 X5 and haven't burned a drop yet. Some do, but many don't. Looks like you got a keeper
