Keyhole Cover? Do I have to pull the mechanism??

I'm looking at the keyhole cover some of you guys have modded onto your X. Question is, can I use the keyhole cover without pulling the key tumbler (mechanism)?? I like the look of not seeing the keyhole, but I'm not into the effort created if the X looses power...Does the cover snap on and snap off?? How is it attached?? I'd love to hear from those who have done the mod....

Yep most of the folks who've done the keyhole delete mod have just simply replaced the factory cover with the non-keyhole one .
There's no need to remove the lock cylinder. In fact you're probably better off in leaving the lock cylinder installed as it would at least allow you to get back into the car by removing the keyhole cover.
