You can't. Your only choice is to buy a CPO ride or purchase a warranty from one of those "broker" agencys.

Anyone know of the best broker to buy an entended warranty;one that covers the most with the least amount of deductible?

Wood,
The Ext Warr scene is a labyrinth of companies, all pumping they are DaBest...

I spent months researching and while I'm not Xpert, I picked Warranty Direct. (They are a tad pricer now, then when I got mine last summer.)

In the meantime, OneSource, which was a toss up at the time between them and Warr.Direct, have gone toes up. (Thus, the "majors"/hopefully legit joints, have raised the rent on thier deals.)

A web search will yield a dozen+ sites and, your Stlr may have a "pocket co." he will pitch, also, in lieu of the BeamER warr.

My point is buyer really beware: many are LLCs,shells, front companies with 2nd and 3rd position funders behind them, etc.

I would not jump at the "most stuff" with "least deductible", as I would suspect they are doing loss leader stuff and and marginally funded.

I have not "used" my Warranty Direct, but some posters here have with good results and many over on the Corvette Forum board give them good reviews, fwiw.

Do some homework, figure out what you really need, realize that the "miles" part starts "now", think about an extra "emissions controls" coverage, etc.

Any hard "definitive" rec'd you get from this or, any board is anecdotal, imo, including this post...it's a fookin nightmare out there in Ext Warranty Land.

Have made 3-4 claims with Warranty Direct so far. Everything's been very positive so far.

Does Warranty Direct cover everything that the original BMW warranty would cover?

From memory, I have no idea...

I passed on the BMW Ext warr., as it was pricey and only 2 yrs, time-wise.

Here's the link for Warr. Direct...do some reading.

We also have warranty direct for our 2001 S600 and it has been great so far.

I believe Kirk just got it for his 4.6 as well.
