Because I haven't gone the route of changing my stereo system to accept an iPod input yet, I just picked up the new model of the DLO Transpod. I like it a lot so far. More convenient then the Monster ICarPlay+ I'll be putting on ebay soon. That's just a long cable of mess that leaves the iPod free to bounce around the X5 at every turn.
The DLO comes in 3 colors, and it was $89 at PCRichard. $99 most other places, but they have it on sale.
It can tune to ANY station, not just a choice of 4. It's so convenient because it holds the iPod still, charges the iPod, and with your hand resting on the shifter, you can simply press the iPod buttons without even looking. The volume is less then a direct input, of course, but that's to be expected from any FM transmitter. Direct is best, of course, but this is also portable to follow you into other vehicles.
