Well i was changing my Headlight AGAIN.. (the Bulb) this time i dropped it.. It was the driver side light.. well when i did i couldnt find it. I pulled the access panel off by the front driver side tire not there.. Looked all around motor not there.. My question is this.. Do you think it will cause any damage in there.. Well, if you have a new rattle, at least you know where it came from.

How many miles on your X? If you check out some previous posts, you will find out about the hundreds of bulbs and sockets (ok, a little exaggeration) I had to replace between 53K-56K. I almost could recommend a complete bulb change once they start to go. (I still have 1 original headlight,1 front directional and 2 high beams)

You are probably fine to drive...if you're lucky the bulb will fall out then.

Side Note: this is why I love my 996, the entire headlight assembly detaches from the vehicle and allows you to take it into the kitchen to put the bulb in
