Bosch ICON--WTF??

....So I needed a new set of wipers...decided to try the Bosch ICON as others on this forum have recommended...Both new wipers match the OEM size, both fit in fine...BUT... We just had a rain here and decided I'd look and see how my new investment worked...uuuggghhh....there is a large area totally untouched by the blade on the drivers side throughout it's pass... ....completely uneffective...the driver side wiper itself is bowed about 1.5" from mid-point to tip, and the arm doesn't seem to put enough pressure throughout the length of the blade, creating this void....I've been changing wipers for years, but these new-fangled ones got me stumped...Anybody with ICONS had this issue??

Get some pliers and pull off the small plastic piece on the driver's side of the wiper arm that holds the OEM wiper in place. If you can't see it, I'll go snap a pic for you.

I just put my ICONS on yesterday, we're supposed to get sleet/snow tonight!

March 20th, that crap is supposed to be long gone by now!

...Funny you should say that...I posted a thread last week trying to identify that clip...even with that clip removed, there is a large untouched portion of the window throughout the blades pass...

Is the metal that the clip mounts on fouling things up? The spoiler on the blade is facing the correct way, right?

That's weird, man. Mine lay nice & flush on the windshield. I'll go mess around with mine for a minute or two to see if I can figure out why you're having an issue.

...in a physical sense, it's bowed in the middle of the blade...thus lack-o-contact...

probably stupid idea but you do know that 1 blade is longer than the other right? if you swapped them, 1 might not cover the entire windshield.
