New Exhaust?

I need a new exhaust. Some lady rear ended me wich twisted up my ACS Exhaust a little bit. Anyone know of a better performance exhaust than ACS? ... ACS=REMUS. Some friends are telling me I could get more power out of another brand. Any info would be great ...

thanks ..

Supersprint, Eisenmann, and Dinan also make exhausts. Also, if you want more deeper sound, you could get rid of the resonator (mid section of your exhaust system) with straight pipes and even retrofit 4.6iS or 4.8iS exhaust.

More power out of the exhaust is minimal at best. Unless you had extensive intake modification, you probably won't realize gains. The real reason for aftermarket exhaust is the sound and looks. Besides, any gains beside being minimal won't really affect a 4800-5000 lb car unless you get get more than 100 hp or 100 lb/ft torque gain from your modification (e.g. a supercharger)

I've had my resonator out for a few years now ... I love it. It also sounds awesome w/ the ACS. But I think its time for a change ... I'll look into the Supersprint/Eisenmann for now.

thank ..

Hey Ryan. Glad you found your way over here.
You're not going to get much in the way of hp gains without headers, which you could do. i think tommy has the info on them.
check out the tubi exhaust, if you just want to do a cat back

it ought to be loud enough, unique enough, and expensive enough for your taste.
stick around. most of the regs are here.

I'm totally out of the loop. But do you know anyone who makes headers for a 3.0i X5?

Sorry to go off topic.
