Can't get green lights on oil change interval display

I changed the oil today... 05' 4.4i ... I did the reset method of holding the odometer stalk in while turning the key to the 1st position for a few seconds, release and hold again for a few seconds, release and press again and all is reset. However I still get the 5 yellow blocks on the display.. they didn't turn to green. Is this how it's supposed to be?

PS... when I did it the display said SIA reset or something like that. Now it won't reset anymore and says like 3432L or something.

SIA means Service Interval, after it starts flashing, you then push the stalk again, you did it wrong, I just did mine this week.
